In order to partake in a PTS Courses (which is where any rail maintenance career begins) all candidates must successfully complete the PTS Medical and a Drug & Alcohol Test. These tests are compulsory requirements of NetworkRail. A valid PTS Drug & Alcohol and PTS Medical and are required throughout an entire rail career.
